Martin Berg is the President/Executive Director of Pro-Active Resources.  He founded Pro-Active Resources in 1985.  At the time he founded Pro-Active Resources, there were very few outpatient counseling or treatment services for chemical dependency in the counties surrounding Indianapolis specifically Hamilton and Hendricks Counties, which have changed dramatically since 1985.

Martin’s vision was to provide high quality, clinically effective and cost-efficient services to the citizens of Central Indiana in need of alcohol and drug treatment services.  Over the years, he became aware of other related services that were also in great demand so he gradually expanded into anger management and domestic violence treatment, a wide range of alcohol and drug education programs, as well as individual, marital (couples), and family counseling for both addictions related issues and non-addiction related issues.

Pro-Active Resources rapidly grew to the point that Martin could not provide all of the clinical services by himself, so he began adding other clinicians to the staff.  In the following pages you will find a brief biography on each of the clinical and support staff.
