Melinda has worked in the field of mental health and addictions treatment since 1999. She has been the supervising coordinator at a long term residential facility. She was the supervising resident assistant at a long term residential facility in Tennessee which has equine therapy as one of the modalities. From there, Melinda worked at a women's half way house in Indianapolis as a grant writer. She was later with a facility that primarily used antabuse and education. It was primarily a court mandated program for alcohol offenders. While there, Melinda was introduced to Prime for Life and became certified as an instructor. She also began developing her skills as an office manager and began learning the basics of bookkeeping and communication skills needed in a treatment environment.
Melinda has been with Pro-Active Resources since 2006. Since 2003, she has continued her involvement with Prime for Life. Her primary duties involve running the office and the day to day activities of managing a fast-paced office. She is truly pleased to be involved in such a great organization and loves the work Pro-Active does.
Stephanie has been a part-time assistant since 2011 and has been very helpful to the office staff and performs duties such as invoicing, checking clientele into their groups, receiving payments, and answering phones, just to mention a few of her duties.
